Sustaina was created by a group of upper South Carolina women who have full-time jobs during the week, but possess the passion for creating things for others to enjoy. After you've visited us, you'll know why the group of us say, "Oh, that's SO sustaina" when we come across materials to make our whimsical items. We are hoping to contribute to a sustainable (now you see why our name is sustaina) way of shopping and living.
Now you say, plenty of people make things----well, we make items with creation care in mind. All of our items are made by from scratch by hand or repurposed & recrafted. Many of the items are developed using reused or recycled materials.
That is, of course, except for the baked goods & cookie mixes, but you can use the jar/cloth over again! And for your pets, we know they must consume their treats, but hey, they are all natural and homemade! You can reuse or recycle the packaging and you can feel good knowing that SUPER DUPER pet lovers made your treats. Between the four of us, we have 19 pets!
